Migrate Db from UNIX to Windows. [message #72960]

Hi,
I have to migrate a 8.0.4 database on HPUX to 8.1.7
database on Windows XP.
I followed the following steps :-
1)did a full export of the database from unix
2) Created a database and all the tablespaces on Windows.
3) Did a full import .
However I am getting referential/foreign Key errors during the import.
What am I doing wrong in the above process?
Is there a different procedure?

export/import is the only method.
I would not do a full import.
rather, import schema-by-schema.
first identify the dependencies
